cool stuff. one thing i've found that helps my comprehension immensely is making notes in the margins. Questions, re-framing of key concepts--often with a diagram, noting interesting connections with other things i'm thinking about, links/contrasts with what's already been said in the text... when reading the book feels like a conversation, i absorb a lot more. one site i encountered a while back has lots of cool ideas on smart learning: http://www.winwenger.com/edtech.htm
